Biography
Comrade Ini-obong Uko is a distinguished youth leader, peacebuilding practitioner, policy analyst, and community development advocate from Obio Offot in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He is widely recognized for his commitment to youth empowerment, sustainable development, environmental advocacy, and transformational, transgenerational leadership.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution and has built an impressive record of service as a youth development consultant, conflict analyst, peacebuilding expert, climate justice advocate, human rights defender, and public policy analyst. He has championed initiatives promoting social justice, good governance, youth participation, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and peaceful coexistence.
In 2025, he led his team on a Prison Decongestion Programme at the Uyo Custodial Centre, providing pro bono legal services to inmates without representation.
